Our story
The brainchild of Luciana and Christian, today Teardrop is a nano pub offering a carefully curated mix of beer, spirits and tasty snacks from local breweries and artisans.
We love pouring pints as much as crafting them. As the very first pub in the Covered Market, we proudly offer only local products.
Starting out as a mobile pub in our teardrop trailer, demand meant we quickly grew into our small but perfect location in The Covered Market in Oxford. The first pub in the covered market, we continue to focus on curating a diverse range of beer and pub snacks showcasing the best of our local micro breweries and artisan producers.
To keep the range interesting, we change our offering almost daily, and with a mix of cask real ales and keg beers, we love helping even the most discerning beer drinkers discover something new.
We have a range of bottled, canned and mini kegs for purchase on-site. Or, if you're planning something bigger we can help curate a beer selection and order kegs or hire our mobile Teardrop bar for weddings or beer festivals.

Where can I buy your beers?
From us in-store, to enjoy immediately or take away. We offer a free, local delivery service for addresses within Oxford but cannot post nationally.
Do you have any gluten-free beers?
Yes, we stock a number of gluten-free beer options as well as low and no-alcohol beers.
Do you stock 0% and low-alcohol beers?
Yes, we always have one 0% alcohol option in stock and low-alcohol options. Good beer doesn't always have to have alcohol.
What beers and breweries do you stock?
We stock an ever-changing range of beers, spirits and snacks from local craft breweries and artisan producers. Click here for a list of those we regularly stock, but please do contact us if there's something specific you're after. Our popular ranges do often sell out.
Can we book a table?
We offer a first-come, first-served policy. We have a number of tables available but are unable to reserve spaces.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we offer a free, local delivery service within Oxford. For deliveries across Oxfordshire or the Cotswolds, please contact us for information. We regret we're unable to offer deliveries outside of Oxfordshire.
Can I bring my own bottle or container to buy beer?
Yes, we encourage you to bring your own clean bottles and growlers. It's more sustainable.
Can you deliver beer to me?
Yes, if you're based in Oxford. Due to the small batch and ever-changing range of beers we stock, we can only offer free, local delivery within Oxford.
